I think it would be a great feature to have allergen icons to easily see if a booking has allergies/dietary requirements. There are 14 main allergens so perhaps the customer could select from a drop down box and then the corresponding icon would appear on their booking. It would be visible at all times which would reduce the possibility of their request being overlooked if the notes weren't read in advance. It would also enable all staff members to be aware of the allergy with a quick glance at the screen and in turn they could adopt a more vigilant attitude towards the table.
If this isn't easily implemented or while it's in development it would be great to be able to add more than one character when creating a custom booking code. For example Gluten free could be GF.
