Change comments box on widget

Hello,
The placeholder text that shows in the bookings comments section of our booking widget is fixed to the text;
"Let us know if you have any special requests and we will do our best to assist. Please note that special requests cannot be guaranteed."
I do understand that the message might not be ideal for every venue, but we hope that it is generic enough to avoid any confusion over the purpose of the comments box.
We don't have any way of changing this per widget with the main reason being that it allows us to translate this content into 30 or so languages.
If you would like to customise the content, please let us know what you would prefer to include as it would give us better insight into the ways in which we might be able to improve.

The problem is that 50% of the guests do not read the text at all. Because of this you get all kinds of requests there like invoices or tables on the outside of the restaurant. Customising the content will not help. We want (and a big amount of your users want the same) to take the entore box away.
Would this be possible?
