Where does this information show?

  • Your ResDiary Microsite (for example www.resdiary.com/yourrestaurant)
  • Will update any tokens in your emails i.e. wherever you see {RESTAURANT} token.


Inputting your address correctly is vital for the map to show the right place.

It uses google maps coordinates to update this.

If you think this is showing the wrong exact location please let support@resdiary.com know and we will update this manually.

Restaurant Name

Whatever you enter in here is how the restaurant's name will appear on the site, widget and email notifications to customers (i.e. wherever you see the token {RESTAURANT} it pulls the name from the Restaurant field)

Microsite Name

This is where your customers will be directed to if they want to make a booking via ResDiary.com

Make sure:

- There is no spaces

- There are no special characters (only A-Z & 0-9 used)

Changes can take up to 30 minutes to update on the microsite depending on how busy the server is (i.e. could take up to an hour at busy times)

If you change the microsite name the old one will not exist any more and any links or references to the old name will throw an error 500 - so be sure to update any references of the old microsite URL.
