Whether you’ve created a new segment for a special occasion like Valentine’s, or you’ve moved your venue around, sometimes you need to edit your tables. Here’s how to do this:




I need to add a table 

Go to Settings - Tables 

Pick the appropriate Segment 

Click Edit 

  1. Type - Normal 
  2. Number - add the table's number 
  3. Description - add a description here if you need it 
  4. Status - Enabled 
  5. Maximum Covers - how many covers can this table sit? 
  6. Area - select the area where the table will sit, from the drop down



I need to remove a table 

Go to Settings - Tables 

Pick the appropriate Segment 

Disabled (Recommended) 

Click Edit and change the Status to Disabled.  (Please note, if there are future bookings on this table, they will be unallocated. You need to reallocate them to take reservations. See how to here.) 

Deleted 

Click Edit and use the Delete button at the bottom to delete the table. This will only work if there are no future bookings on the table. 


I need to change a table's cover amount

Go to Settings - Tables 

Pick the appropriate Segment 

Click Edit and change the number on the Maximum Covers dropdown 


I need to change table numbers

Go to Settings - Tables 

Pick the appropriate Segment 

Click Edit and edit the tables's number in the Number box


I need to move my table to a new area 

Go to Settings - Tables 

Pick the appropriate Segment 

Click Edit and change the table's area from the Area dropdown
