Welcome! We’re upgrading your login experience to Access Identity for improved security and a seamless sign-in process. This guide will walk you through the migration step by step.

Step 1: Log In to Your Web Account
  1. Open your web browser and go to the ResDiary login page
  2. Sign in using your current username and partner as usual. 
  3. You’ll see a prompt: "We are migrating your account to Access." 
  4. Click “Start Migration” to begin. 


Step 2: Confirm Your Email Address
  1. You’ll be asked to confirm your email address
  2. Before clicking confirm, make sure the email displayed is correct and accessible. 
  3. Click Confirm—a 6-digit verification code will be sent to your email. 

? Troubleshooting Tip:
  • If the email address is incorrect, click Not now and amend the email address before proceeding


Step 3: Verify Your Email with a 6-Digit Code
  1. Check your inbox for an email with the subject: "Your Verification Code"
  2. Enter the 6-digit code in the verification field. 
  3. Click Verify

? Didn’t get the code?
  • Check your spam/junk folder. 
  • Click Resend Code and wait a few minutes. 
  • Ensure the email address shown before requesting the code is correct. 
  • If you still don’t receive a code, contact support.


Step 4: Set a New Password
  1. Enter a new password following these security rules:
✅ At least 10 characters long
Not a commonly used password
Strength rating: "Strong" (Use a mix of uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and symbols) 

2.Click Set Password

 

? Troubleshooting Tip:
  • If your password is rejected, ensure it meets all requirements. 
  • Try using a phrase-based password (e.g., "C0ffee!Lover2024!") for better security. 


Step 6 (For Administrators Only): Set an Override PIN
If you’re an Administrator, you’ll be prompted to set an Override PIN.
? What is an Override PIN?
  • This PIN allows you to approve staff actions that require managerial approval, such as overriding booking rules. 
How to set your PIN:
  1. Enter a secure 4-digit PIN of your choice. 
  2. Confirm the PIN by entering it again. 
  3. Click Save PIN
? Keep your PIN secure! You’ll need it for authorizing staff actions.
