We are always working behind the scenes to make improvements that we think will really help you manage your diary. With this in mind, we are pleased to say we have been working on our close out feature. The hope is that these updates will simplify the process of managing your online availability.
This new feature has a Beta tag, because, it's not finished yet and its new. There will be more functionality added to this setting over the coming weeks.

On this new page, you will see a feedback option pop up. Please let us know your thoughts, suggestions and feedback here. We want to hear from you so we can make any further changes to this setting that would further simplify the process for you.

We will not be removing the legacy setting, don't worry! This will only be removed in the future once we are sure the new page does everything you need it to. With this in mind, your feedback really matters - so please please please, complete that feedback option on the new BETA setting.

This new feature can be found on your settings page.

Please see a video guide here:

When creating a new close out simply click ' create new close out'. The look and feel is different, but we have added some new functionality including:

1. A new view:

A different look. From here, you can view all existing close outs as normal. You can create new close outs, edit existing close outs or delete any close outs you no longer need.
You can also now click the colour wheel and change the colour associated with a close out as you would like to.

2. New calendar view: We've added a calendar view to the right-hand side of the page. This is to give a visual overview of your upcoming close-outs per day. You can hover over the colours to see the close-out name. You can also adjust the display to show between 1 to 90 days in the calendar, the page will default to show you 31 days in the future.

3. New edit flow: When you click on the edit icon to make a change to an existing close out, you will see a new UI.
You will still be able to see your existing close outs while editing your chosen close out. A small change, to hopefully simplify your edit flow, so your changes are to your exact specifications on the first try.

4. No end Date: This allows you to have an endless, continuous close out so you never need to remember to come back and update the date range.
Closed on Mondays and never plan to open? This will cover you.

5. Area Multi Selection: We know our customers have complex operations, resulting in multiple areas and segments for different periods of the year.

We felt the process of having to add an individual time period per area was a touch taxing. So now, in the area drop down - you can multi select your chosen areas in one time interval, all in one go if you wish to!

You can of course add multiple intervals, with different times, for different areas if you wish to:

We hope you like these changes and find them useful. More changes are coming soon to this new Beta setting, so keep your eyes peeled and the feedback coming.
