I’ve noticed that the orange time indicator in ResDiary doesn’t update in real time. Since the system runs in 15-minute intervals, the orange line doesn’t move past the next interval (e.g., 17:30) until the computer clock reaches 17:30:01.
This can cause some confusion with table timings — particularly for walk-ins — as it can appear that a table is available for up to 15 minutes longer than it actually is.
It would be really helpful if the orange line reflected thecurrenttime rather than the nearest interval. I’ve recently used the ResDiary app, and it seemed to display time more accurately — including a small black box above the orange line that showed the exact time, which was very useful.
