Do you want to stop the sidebar opening automatically? 

You can choose when the side bar expands. 

Go to Settings > Interface Settings

If you don’t want the side bar to open at all untick “Expand Standby List Automatically” 

Also untick “Expand Expected Arrivals List Automatically”
