Table Management - Services 


Turn times give you the leeway to clear and re-set your tables between reservations. The turn time is deducted from the applicable Average Time Rules or length of stay, meaning customers are told they need to vacate their table 15 minutes earlier than the time shown on your diary. 


So if you give two hours at the table for dinner service and a customer books in at 6pm, they'll be told/their confirmation email will say they need to vacate their table at 7.45pm (however the booking will be assigned to the table until 8pm to ensure no one else can book said table for a further 15 mins - this is your 'turn time'). 


Please note - customers are not told how long they have been allocated a table (regardless of any turn times set up) unless there are Leave Time Rules in place. Please see this guide here for further details of these.


To add the turn time 

  • Go to Settings - Table Management - Services 
  • Choose the segment you want to add a turn time to 
  • Choose your service - click Edit 
  • Under Service Times, navigate to the Turn Time section 
  • Enter the number of minutes you need to turn tables. 


Please note: the turn time should ideally match up with the timeslots in your diary. So if you take bookings every 15 minutes, the turn time should be multiples of 15 also.
