Reservations - Reasons For Booking 


Reasons for booking let your customers tell you why they are visiting your venue. A default set of reasons for booking are included in your diary which can help you report/monitor reasons for booking in more detail.


You are unable to edit the 'standard Reasons for Booking' however you can disabled them.


NOTE: Reasons For Booking are only used for internal bookings and you can not enable them for online. 


To add a new reason for booking follow the below steps:


  • Settings
  • Reasons for Booking
  • Add New
  • Add the reason for for booking 
  • Click on the green tick to save




To disable or edit a reason for booking follow the below steps:


  • Settings
  • Reasons for Booking
  • To disable a reason click on the green toggle next to the reason and it will go red. 
  • To edit a reason for booking (that has been created and not a standard booking reason) click on the edit icon next to the reason 
  • To delete a reason for booking (that has been created and not a standard booking reason) click on the trash can next to the reason

To pull a reason for booking report follow the below steps:


  • Reports
  • Booking report 
  • Click on the 'booking details' tab at the top left hand side
  • On the right hand side filter the information you require
  • Make sure you add a filter for 'Reasons For Booking' 
  • Select the reasons for booking options you want to run the report for
  • Run report
