This implementation will enable you to get data relating to:

  • How many users are using my booking widget?

  • Where are my users coming from?

  • What are the demographics of my users?

  • What technologies they are using?

Prepare Your GA4 Property:

Set up a property in GA4. Google provides detailed guides on how to do this in their help centre

Retrieve Your Measurement ID:

In your GA4 account, go to Admin > Data Streams.

Check Measurement ID Integration:

While data may take up to 48 hours to appear in GA4, you can test the measurement ID integration.

Load the website with your widget and right-click to inspect the widget.

In the "Sources" tab, expand the www.googletagmanager.com icon, then the Gtag folder, and verify your measurement ID presence.
