Stripe is our payment provider. With stripe, you can prompt guests for deposits at the time of booking or store card details against a booking to ward off no shows.

Stripe is free of charge to set up, but there are processing fees attached every time you charge a card via stripe. The charges would be 1.4% plus 20p per transaction from stripe plus 1% from ResDiary.  For EU customers it is 1.4% plus €0.25 per transaction plus 1% from ResDiary.

Before launching stripe, be sure to add your terms and conditions to your diary so guests must agree to these when booking online.

These should outline any venue policies you have as well as outlining to customers in what situations deposits will be returned, or when the provided card would be charged and by how much.

Please see a full guide here on how to add these to your diary.
