What's Next?

You have completed your ResDiary Build and ready to activate your booking tools.  There are a few checks that we would recommend you make to ensure that your diary replicates your venue operations and how we can help you optimise your availability.

It is a lot of steps and it is a lot to take in! When reviewing the below steps always consider this as you training your diary to know how you like to operate your venue, ensuring that your bookings are allocated and managed efficiently.

Which tables can you join to accommodate your larger parties?

Table Rankings
Tell us which individual tables you want to sell first.  *Tip Sell tables which can not be joined first to ensure you have space for those larger bookings. 

Rules are in place to ensure that you don't short sell tables, for example, no 2s on a 4 top.  You can also implement large party booking rules to optimise your availability by preventing large party bookings blocking your peak times 


Adjust your average duration time, inform customers of leave times and control your peak times using yield management. You can use Yield Management to reduce availability at peak times - pushing your customers to arrive a little earlier or a little later achieving that hour glass service to re-sell your tables.

Create a tabe plan to match the layout of you tables.

Add users and manage your user group permissions


Adding Terms and Conditions/Privacy Policy and Retention Period 

Special Offers and Payments

Inform your customers of special events or menus whether it be Afternoon Tea, Pre-Theatre, Tasting Menus or seasonal activity. 

Take payment/deposits using Stripe (PCI Compliant).  Store card details/take deposits and implement a 'no show' 'late cancellation' policy during peak days to deter no shows.
